It’s true I pretty much drink a smoothie every single day and I know Davida is the same way. Today’s recipe features a few of my favorite super foods that are jam packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

In the line up we’ve got…

  • Blueberries
  • Banana
  • Spinach
  • Flax
  • Honey
  • Almond Milk

I have a second thing to note.

This was supposed to be a “green” smoothie…as in the color green and it clearly did not turn green.

Blue (blueberries) > green (spinach).

The Ultimate Detox Smoothie Recipe:

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Yield: 1 serving


    • 1c frozen blueberries
    • 1/2 frozen banana
    • 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
    • 2 giant handfuls of spinach
  • 1 cup almond milk, unsweetened (you might need a splash more!)
  • splash of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon organic honey


  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or magic bullet and process until combined.
